Many distance education courses (even those that cost thousands of dollars) fail to provide students with even the most rudimentary feedback. Some give you a test score but never bother to advise why your answers were incorrect.
Often assignments are returned with either just a score or the comment: 'meets required standard' ot 'does not meet required standard'.
