CERTIFICATE IN BIBLICAL STUDIES Course

This course is designed for those who have made a commitment to Christ, have obeyed the command to be baptised, and are in regular fellowship in a local church. It is pointless, after all, if a student has no sphere of application for the things they are studying.

Authority of the Bible Bible Interpretation
Man, Sin & Salvation Ministry Gifts
First Century Church Early Church History
Sacaments & Typology Spiritual Warfare

Each of these studies average 50 pages in length (A4) and most take less than three hours to read through. Each subject comes with a 50-question, multiple-choice, 'open-book' test. One written assignment (750 -1,000 words) is to be submitted with each test.

GETTING STARTED

If you intend to study online, first of all you will need to apply to take a sample subject (#201- Living by Faith).

Providing that you submit your test answers and written assignment in the allotted time (one month) and you score a minimum of 60%, you should be eligible to apply to complete the remaining subjects in the series.
From this point on, you have nine months to finish the other nine subjects, bearing in mind that points are lost for any late submission of test answers.

Previous students have manged to complete the course in six to seven months (and this in the days when two written assignments were required), so the time allowed is still quite generous. There should be no reason why the serious student should not finish this fairly simple course.

For those students who elect to study by 'snail-mail' (either from compact disk or printed text-books) There are still time limits but these will depend upon where you are located and the vagaries of the postal service will be taken into account.

Those studying under the 'snail-mail' system should also be aware that while postage and handling charges are payable prior to the commencement of study, the text books are mailed in sets of three. The reason we do not send them all at once is because we have a mandate to teach the word, not just distribute books. To that end endeavour to ensure that the books are being used for study and that the student's progress through the course is carefully monitored, and appropriate feedback and encouragement is given before the next set is released.

Those who receive their lessons on CD will have their lesson file passwords released subject by subject.
